Learning innovation programs worth a look

EYE PAINT: Renault's new program

Renault's EYE PAINT training program meets a crucial need to improve the quality of painting operations in automotive plants.

To meet the specific constraints of the project, the training solution had to be deployable on a global scale, while being compatible with the plants' secure IT environment, operational plant activities and site training budgets. EYE PAINT uses virtual reality to provide innovative, immersive training for painters, enabling them to practice essential gestures in an effective, realistic and fun way. Successfully tested and deployed in 80% of Renault Group plants worldwide, this solution has been hailed for its effectiveness and positive impact on industrial performance.

The specific features and innovations of the EYE PAINT solution highlight its realistic and practical character, thanks in particular to the integration of real paint booths and vehicles in the virtual environment. It also provides instant visual feedback and detailed reports on trainee performance, helping them to improve their skills quickly and efficiently. By reducing training costs and environmental impact, while improving the quality of painting operations, EYE PAINT represents a major step forward in industrial training at Renault Group.

Les Echos Le Parisien: virtual reality for public speaking training

Les Echos Le Parisien Group's Managers Community training program, run by the HR Transformation and Innovation Department, aims to enhance managers' skills. In March and April 2023, managers were offered training in public speaking, exploiting virtual reality. Over a one-week period, more than 50 managers had access to a VR headset to follow the training at their own pace, and benefited from an onboarding session to ensure optimum familiarization.

The main feedback from participants in the virtual reality public speaking course was as follows:

  • The ease with which users could get to grips with the tool was greatly appreciated, thanks in particular to the onboarding session which enabled them to quickly familiarize themselves with the VR headset.
  • Participants expressed a keen interest in the training and the various exercises on offer. They particularly appreciated the ability to repeat the exercises ad infinitum, creating an environment where they felt free to improve without fear of judgment from other participants.
  • Artificial intelligence's analysis of the performance was perceived as neutral and objective, particularly in its assessment of tone, speech rate and gaze, offering constructive, non-judgmental feedback.
  • Using an avatar to visualize one's own performance was highlighted as being more comfortable than looking at one's own image, which facilitated the process of learning and correcting faults.
  • Participants appreciated the autonomy offered by the training, enabling them to follow the course at their own pace, according to their needs and availability.
  • The modernity of this training approach was underlined, representing an innovative and effective way of tackling the subject of public speaking.

Concentrix+Webhelp: raising awareness of inclusive management through a 100% digital serious game

The "Become tomorrow's inclusive managers" training program offers an innovative approach focused on developing managerial skills through a digital serious game enhanced by generative artificial intelligence. Divided into two phases, the program begins with an acculturation and awareness phase via stand-alone e-learning modules, followed by an immersive practical phase in a gamified virtual classroom. The latter enables participants to put their knowledge into practice through realistic, interactive scenarios, encouraging the emergence of collective intelligence and the sharing of experience between peers. As a result, this immersive approach aims to transform managerial behavior by offering an engaging, hands-on learning experience, while encouraging the creation of a community of practice-sharing and the development of individual action plans for continuous evolution.

In short, the program represents a significant advance in the development of managerial skills by offering an innovative combination of e-learning content and gamified interaction. Thanks to this immersive approach, leaders are prepared to excel in a diverse and inclusive professional environment, fostering a genuine transformation of managerial practices and adapting to today's challenges in team management.
