Course :
Session 1: Managing Resistance
Conveying important messages to your team without losing credibility or coming across as authoritarian is one of the most challenging tasks in management. Participants learn to adopt a “high-level stance”: firm in substance, open in approach. They leave with a repertoire of concrete phrasing to ensure their messages are clear and impactful without coming across as authoritarian.
Case Study : Practice conveying an important message to your team by adopting a confident stance, remaining firm in your decision while leaving room for feedback.
Session 2: Managing Conflicts or Unforeseen Events
When a situation gets out of hand, when a mistake is made, or when the manager-employee relationship deteriorates—these are all moments when your approach is crucial. Participants will learn techniques for handling objections and allowing themselves room for error without losing their credibility.
Case Study : Managing a manager-employee relationship that has deteriorated by preparing for the meeting, choosing the appropriate approach, and avoiding reacting impulsively or under the influence of emotions.
