A professional network isn’t built solely by reaching out to others; it’s also built by making your profile and posts visible and consistent enough to attract the right people. Participants define their communication goals and refine their online presence on professional networks.
Example of a tool : Personal branding techniques on professional networks (defining your communication goals: what message, what value proposition, for which audience? / how to position your profile and posts on LinkedIn or any internal professional network to attract the right people and the right information).
Case Study : Formulate your communication goals in pairs, improve your online presence, and receive feedback from peers to refine your positioning before publishing it.
Session 2: Outbound Marketing - Building and Nurturing a Valuable Network
Knowing how to attract people is great. But knowing how to reach out to the right people at the right time, with the right message—that’s how you build a truly useful network. Participants learn how to prepare for their initial contacts and structure their networking efforts over the long term.
Example of a tool : The "Get a Head Start" technique (analyzing a contact’s profile before reaching out: background, interests, sensitivities → adapt your approach and message accordingly) + The format of the initial contact or networking email (clear subject line with a personal reference to increase the open rate / personalized introduction / specific request highlighting the benefits for the recipient / clear and effective call to action).
Case Study : Define your networking goals, identify contacts to reach out to or reconnect with (profile, tailored message), and develop concrete actions to regularly nurture your network in line with your professional goals.
